RS-CIT Complete Computer Course
Required for government job
In today’s digital age, knowing how to use computers and the internet is crucial for everyone. Computers play a key role in government work, education, jobs, and personal life. The Central and State Governments in India are steadily advancing toward Digital India. In this effort, the Government of Rajasthan has launched a program to offer computer education called the RS-CIT (Rajasthan State Certificate in Information Technology) course.
RS-CIT is designed specifically for the people of Rajasthan, providing basic to intermediate computer education. The Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited (RKCL) developed the course, and the certification comes from the Vardhman Mahaveer Open University (VMOU) in Kota.

The main goals of the RS-CIT course are:
Promote Digital Literacy, so every citizen can operate computers and use the internet.
Provide Access to Government Services, making it easier for citizens to use services like eMitra, Jan Aadhaar, and Bhamashah.
Increase Employment Opportunities since knowledge of computers is vital for government and private jobs.
The RS-CIT course lasts 3 months, totaling around 132 hours. It has two main parts:
72 hours of classroom training (theory and practical lab work)
60 hours of e-learning (self-learning modules, video tutorials, quizzes)
This setup gives students both theoretical knowledge and practical experience.
No minimum educational qualification is needed.
Anyone who can read and write can join.
There are no age limits, allowing people from all backgrounds to enroll.
